COVID-19 Resources


Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) is providing strategic support for the strengthening of emergency preparedness and response systems in the APP and other program countries in the global south for managing COVID-19 pandemic. These actions are being facilitated through the strengthening of the National and Public Health Emergency Operations Centers, risk communication, awareness-raising and developing a repository of knowledge resources for south-south learning and knowledge exchange.
Asian Preparedness Partnership (APP) is a unique multi-stakeholder regional partnership comprising of national and local governments, non-governmental organizations, civil society groups and private sector networks in selected high-risk countries in Asia.

According to the WHO, Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. The organization has identified COVID-19 as a pandemic on March 11, 2020.

Location  COVID-19 Resources in APP and Other Program Countries 

The pandemic COVID-19 has impacted all the APP countries –  Cambodia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, and Sri Lanka in varying degrees. It has also affected other program countries such as Bangladesh, Ethiopia, India, and Thailand. Relevant authorized IEC materials have been compiled from these countries for facilitating South-South learning and knowledge exchange.
