Community Action for Disaster Response (CADRE)

CADRE brings together local communities to sustain the fight against disasters. It introduces the community participants to the basic skills required to respond safely in emergencies. 

First introduced in Asia in 2009, the course has been the foundation training for community first responder teams in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.

The course is taught by eight instructors with the help of four assistant instructors through an interactive lecture method which makes the learning:
