Dissemination Workshop on Fundraising Guideline for Disaster Management for Small and Medium Enterprises in Cambodia
A fundraising guideline for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) on disaster management was developed in October 2021. The publication will be disseminated to SMEs and other stakeholders during the workshops in the Kampong Cham and Siem Reap provinces. Wider distribution will provide greater awareness of the private sector’s role in emergency response and ensure business continuity through humanitarian assistance.
The main objective of the event is to engage SMEs regarding this guideline so that they can contribute significantly to the sustainability of their business operation in the event of a disaster. It will support the restoration of effective business operations (build back better). The workshop will also cover the following:
- sharing information regarding new fundraising guidelines
- working towards a variety of fund mobilization, criteria, and management that are most applicable for SMEs in Cambodian
