7th APP Regional Steering Committee Meeting (APPRSC)
The 7th APPRSC in Bangkok will proceed the ‘Co-Creation workshop on Way Ahead for APP’ held from 22-23 August 2022 and will provide a platform to share the key recommendations from the workshop. As
most of the key reflections on progress, achievements and impact of APP in the countries will be shared and discussed during the Co-Creation workshop, the 7th APPRSC will focus on regional updates, particularly
on the key tools and guidelines developed, the progress on south-south knowledge sharing and learning through the three Regional Technical Working Groups (RTWGs) formed under APP and other online and
social media platforms. This will enable the APPRSC to give their input for one of the critical pillars of the APP and enhance the south-south learning and knowledge exchange for the next phase of APP. The 7th
APPRSC will also provide an opportunity for ceremonial handover of the Co-Chairship of APP from Pakistan Resilience Partnership (PRP) to Philippines Preparedness Partnership (PhilPrep) for the time period of
2022- 2023.
Key objectives:
- Introducing the three APP self-assessment tools developed
- Sharing the updates and progress on the RTWGs, south-south learning, and knowledge exchange
