Pinnovation Academy’s Two-day Basic Project Management Training
The Pinnovation Academy will conduct a two-Day Basic Project Management (BPM) Training for the shortlisted innovator teams from Luzon (6), Visayas (6), and Mindanao (6). The five-member teams are composed of local organizations and partner communities. The training will be held online for two batches. Batch 1 will be held on February 21-22, 2022 followed by Batch 2 on February 23-24, 2022.
The Training is composed of two parts: (1) Project Management: An Overview, and (2) Managing a disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) Innovation Project. Sessions under Part 1 will tackle concepts on project management, while sessions under Part 2 will brief participants on the project management cycle in the context of a DRRM innovation project.
After completing the two-day training on Basic Project Management, participants are expected to:
- explain basic concepts in project management
- identify risks and challenges in implementing an innovative DRRM project
- determine strategies to effectively manage an innovative DRRM project
- describe project monitoring tools for the implementation of an innovative DRRM project
