Background: National dialogs and fora for the advancement of localization play a pivotal role in enhancing efforts to bring about effective, community-driven change. These events are crucial in supporting initiatives aimed at localization, fostering an environment where diverse stakeholders can collaborate to drive impactful actions.

Objective: The primary aim of these fora and dialog platforms is to strengthen and build partnerships for mobilizing technical assistance and resources for locally-led actions in a more collaborative manner. By bringing together a diverse array of stakeholders, including the Government, Private Sector, Academic Institutions, Humanitarian Agencies, and Disaster Risk Management (DRM) professionals, APP III, under the guidance of NPP-NSC, will facilitate national dialogues to advance the localization of Anticipatory Action for Business Continuity.

These dialogues will focus on the upcoming monsoon season and promote a platform for public-private partnerships. The events aim to enhance disaster preparedness through an Anticipatory Action Approach in DRM by engaging multiple stakeholders, including experts and practitioners from the Government, Private Sector, International/National Non-Governmental Organizations (I/NGOs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and Local Humanitarian Organizations (LHOs).

The initiative seeks to foster knowledge of Anticipatory Action and propose realistic solutions to combat disasters and alleviate human suffering. Recommendations from these discussions will provide valuable insights for practitioners, communities, SMEs, and policymakers, emphasizing the importance of Anticipatory Action and participation at all levels to address the challenges posed by the monsoon season.
