The Bamboo Series – 5’ Talk Program, A Talk Program on “Localizing Locally Led Anticipatory Action in Nepal”

Event Objectives:

The objective of The Bamboo Series – 5 is to discuss the urgent need to adopt and implement
Anticipatory Action by the private sector to make their Business Continuity Management (BCM)
and resilient strategies more robust. It is a part of the ‘Change Initiative’ mentored by MSB, Sweden to promote and build resilient businesses primarily owned and led by women entrepreneurs.

This episode of TBS is being organized in collaboration with the Association of INGOs (AIN), the
National Business Initiative (NBI), and the Disaster Preparedness Network (DPNet), in partnership
with Dan Church Aid (DCA), the Institute for Social Science and Environmental Transformation,
Nepal (ISET-Nepal), and the Nepal Preparedness Partnership (NPP), along with various
humanitarian and private sector agencies in Nepal.
