Program for Strengthening Preparedness for Emergency Response in Myanmar

Myanmar Preparedness Partnership (MPP) was established in 2017 as an in-country multi-stakeholder platform and has been implementing priority interventions identified through a baseline study and MPP roadmap process. With additional support from USAID’s Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (USAID/OFDA), under the ‘Program for strengthening Preparedness for Emergency Response through Multi-Stakeholder Cooperation in Myanmar’, MPP initiatives are expected to be leveraged and scaled-up by building on the activities carried out in the past year.

Ongoing MPP activities will maintain an emphasis on localization with activities implemented at the sub-national level as well aiming to consolidate the partnership between the three target sectors in the country. This brochure has been designed to give an overview of the program activities, area of focus, partners implementing the initiative.
