The Myanmar Preparedness Partnership (MPP) has been formed under the purview of Asian Preparedness Partnership (APP). Established as a multi-stakeholder regional partnership under the ‘Strengthening Capacity of Government, Local Humanitarian Organisations and the Private Sector on Preparedness for Response in Asia’ program, APP strives to improve inter-organisational coordination and dialogue between Government, Local Humanitarian Organisations and Private Sector to enhance capacities through partnerships, knowledge resources, training and networking opportunities.
This brochure has been designed to give an overview of the MPP, areas of focus, operational modality, initiatives taken up for preparedness, response and MPP partners under the APP.
