The National Humanitarian Network (NHN) in Pakistan presents the first issue of humanitarian journal to capture perspectives in preparedness for response. Focusing on the theme of governance in preparedness, the bi-annual ‘Humanitarian Resilience Journal’ covers many issues including Pakistan’s legal readiness, the role of networks, and donors in disaster preparedness.
The journal is published as part of the Pakistan Resilience Partnership (PRP) formed under the Asian Preparedness Partnership (APP). Supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and implemented jointly by ADPC and partners, APP strives to strengthen the capacity of various stakeholders on preparedness for response in South and South-East Asia.
