Nepal is prone to multi-hazard and is exposed to several disaster risks due to topography and weather condition. Facing several disasters is a means to engage in response to several humanitarian works. Many of the agencies and individuals running out of response business endangering the life of people and themselves without proper skill and knowledge. The United Nations (UN) started observing the International Humanitarian Day on 19 August every year since 2016 to commemorate humanitarians in the world and making the day for sharing the innovation and excellence in the Humanitarian arena.
The objectives of this webinar are:
- to observe the International Humanitarian Day 19 August.
- highlight the contemporary humanitarian Issues facing in Nepal and sharing the case study
- provide an opportunity for sensitizing the humanitarian agenda.
